NEW DELHI: Ravindra Jadeja, fondly known as “Sir Ravindra Jadeja” courtesy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, recently paid homage to his former skipper and close friend by visiting Dhoni’s residence in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
The bond between Jadeja and Dhoni extends beyond the cricket field, having played together for several years in various Indian teams and representing the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League.
During his visit to Ranchi for the fourth Test match between India and England at the JSCA Stadium, Jadeja couldn’t resist the opportunity to reconnect with Dhoni in his hometown. Sharing his “fan-moment” with the cricketing legend, Jadeja posted photographs posing in front of Dhoni’s residence.
In a post accompanying the image, Jadeja expressed, “Fun to pose as a fan in front of the legend’s house,” reflecting the mutual respect and admiration between the two cricketers.

The camaraderie between Jadeja and Dhoni transcends their professional relationship, epitomizing the strong bond forged through years of shared experiences on and off the cricket field.
While Jadeja briefly assumed the captaincy of CSK from Dhoni during the 2022 IPL season, their friendship remains unblemished despite the challenges faced by the team during that period.
As both players continue their respective cricketing journeys, their enduring friendship serves as a testament to the camaraderie and mutual respect prevalent in the world of cricket.
