Dhoni, wife Sakshi and CSK teammate Bravo were seen getting lessons in the traditional Gujarati dance from the eldest Ambani sibling in the pre-wedding festitives that took place in Jamnagar over the weekend.

MS Dhoni was among the host of celebrities attending the the Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant pre-wedding festivities taking place in Jamnagar over the weekend, and the former India captain was spotted playing dandiya with Anant’s brother Akash in a video that has since gone viral.

Dhoni, who will be shifting his attention to Chennai Super Kings’ title defence in the Indian Premier League (IPL) that begins less than three weeks from now, and wife Sakshi were seen getting lessons in the traditional Gujarati dance from the eldest Ambani sibling, whose family owns the Mumbai Indians franchise.

It wasn’t just Dhoni though; his long-time CSK teammate Dwayne Bravo, who currently serves as bowling coach of the franchise, also took part in the little routine with MSD and his better half.

The event has been attended by several noted former and active cricketers besides Dhoni and Bravo. Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar was among those present at the event, as was current India skipper Rohit Sharma — who led the Mumbai Indians to five IPL titles.

Also present were several other former and current members of the Mumbai Indians team including current skipper Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan. And it’s not just MI players who were at the bash, with the likes of Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul also making their way to the city that is located along the Gujarat coastline.

Non-cricketing athletes too were present at the event, from Olympic gold-winning javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra to star shuttler and Olympic bronze medallist Saina Nehwal.

Rihanna also performed
at the hometown of the Ambanis in what was one of the defining moments of the pre-wedding festivities.
