NEW DELHI: Popular Bhojpuri singer of ‘Lollypop Lagelu‘ fame on Sunday informed that he’ll not be contesting the Lok Sabha elections. The singer, picked by the BJP as its candidate from the Asansol seat in West Bengal, made the announcement in a post on Twitter.
Singer Pawan Singh tweeted, “I express my heartfelt gratitude to the top leadership of Bharatiya Janata Party.The party trusted me and declared me as the candidate from West Bengal’s Asansol but due to some reason, I will not be able to contest the elections from Asansol…”
