The highly anticipated third instalment of the horror comedy franchise Bhool Bhulaiyaa has left the fans excited. The excitement increased dramatically after Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri were announced to join Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. As the fans await more updates about its filming, a Pinkvilla report is suggesting that the film will commence shooting in Mumbai tomorrow.

Helmed by director Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is all set to go on floors soon. If the report published by Pinkvilla is to be believed, the film is scheduled to kick off shooting tomorrow which will take place in Mumbai. The report says that the production of the film is set for an 8-day schedule, Kartik Aaryan will be joined by Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit for the shooting of the film. Triptii, who turned heads with her striking presence in Ranbir Kapoor’s
Animal
, will also be joining them to shoot her part.

After impressing fans with her role of Manjulika in the first part, Vidya Balan, through this film, is returning to the spooky franchise. Speaking about Balan’s role in the film, a source informed India Today, “The makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ raises the bar for the audience as well. The film will see Vidya Balan return as Manjulika after the first film. Vidya was offered the part, and she was really kicked about getting into the character of Manjulika once again.”

Bhool Bhulaiyaa was released in theatres in 2007. Headlined by Akshay Kumar, the film also featured Shiney Ahuja and Vidya Balan in lead roles. In 2022, the makers released the second instalment of the franchise in which Kartik Aaryan replaced Akshay to play the male lead whereas Kiara Advani and Tabu played the female leads. The film was a blockbuster. Now, with the third part of the film in making, the audience is excited to witness Kartik’s return as Rooh Baba. The film is scheduled to release on Diwali 2024.
