Dahiya (82kg), who had represented the country in the 2022 World U-20 Championships in Sofia, was the only Greco-Roman wrestler from India to reach a medal bout at the tournament but lost 3-1 on points to the world No.12.
Dahiya earlier lost in the quarterfinal to Japan’s Yoshida Taizo on points 7-2 but qualified for the bronze-medal match as Japanese made it to the final.
Yoshida defeated Iran’s Rasoul Garmsiri in the final 9-0 on points to win the gold medal.
Bekzat Orunkul Uulu of Kyrgyzstan also won bronze by defeating South Korea’s Sejin Yang 3-1 in another bout.
