Smriti Mandhana featured in a show on Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) show ‘RCB Insider’ along with Danish Sait, also known as Mr. Nags.
During the fun show, Smriti took part in a fun interview, but it was the Pictionary game that left fans in splits. Mandhana drew a picture of a person with a crown on its head.
From the crown, Mr. Nags identified that Mandhana drew a picture of Virat Kohli, the former captain of the RCB men’s team.
Kohli has a massive fan-following in Bengaluru and that was evident from the cheers he got during the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 match between RCB and Gujarat Giants.
Fans chanted his name when RCB were on course to win the match by 8 wickets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, a venue where Kohli has played since the 2008 Indian Premier League (IPL).

As far as Mandhana was concerned, she did not have the best of times last year after RCB failed to make their way through to the playoffs. They started with five losses in a row and could never recover. During that time, Kohli also went to the RCB camp to deliver a motivational speech.
This season, RCB have got off to a brilliant start. They are sitting on top of the table and have looked at their very best. After beating Alyssa Healy’s UP Warriorz by 2 runs, they thumped Beth Mooney’s Giants.
After being asked to chase down 108, RCB romped home in 12.3 overs. Renuka Singh won the Player of the Match award for picking up 2 wickets for 14 runs. Smriti failed against the Warriorz, but scored 43 runs off 27 balls against the Giants to find her rhythm.
RCB’s next match is against Meg Lanning’s Delhi Capitals on February 29 in Bengaluru.
