NEW DELHI: A heartwarming moment unfolded in the dressing room of Lucknow Super Giants following their triumphant victory against Punjab Kings on Saturday evening.
A video, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by LSG, captured the jubilant atmosphere as head coach Justin Langer rallied his players to sing their team song, which they are performing every time they win.

In the video, Mayank Yadav, the newfound fast-bowling sensation, alongside the talented KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis, and Naveen-ul-Haq, could be seen harmonizing the chorus, and singing – “..the Giants are going strong.”

The camaraderie and unity among the players were palpable as they celebrated their collective success.

On the field, LSG displayed their dominance with a commanding performance against PBKS at Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. Mayank Yadav’s fiery pace wreaked havoc on PBKS’ batting lineup, claiming three crucial wickets for just 27 runs. Despite a strong start from PBKS’ opening duo Shikhar Dhawan and Jonny Bairstow, LSG’s bowling attack, led by Mayank, turned the tables in their favour.
LSG innings was anchored by the explosive contributions of Quinton de Kock, Nicholas Pooran, and Krunal Pandya, driving them to a competitive total of 199/8.
