CHENNAI: Tata Motors and Tamil Nadu government signed an MoU on Wednesday to establish a “cutting-edge vehicle manufacturing facility, committing an investment of Rs 9,000 crore and generating more than 5,000 jobs,” state industries minister TRB Rajaa tweeted.
This is the second billion dollar auto investment that TN has attracted in the last two months after Vietnam-based VinFast announced a Rs 16,000 crore investment in the state.
“We’re not just building factories; we’re engineering dreams and accelerating towards a brighter, more prosperous future,” the minister tweeted.
