Russia has taken the townlet of Mirnoye in Zaporizhzhia from Ukrainian forces. Moscow said the settlement was “liberated as a result of successful offensive actions.” To drive Ukrainian forces out of Mirnoye, Russia unleashed a flurry of rockets. The military lauded the units of the Vostok group of forces for playing a key role. Mirnoye sits at a key juncture, which will help Moscow’s soldiers advance further on the battlefield.
