Russian President Vladimir Putin mocked the planned peace conference being held in Switzerland in June. Putin said it was funny if not sad that Russia was not invited to the summit. He also said that it was total nonsense that they say Russia has refuse to hold such talks and then don’t invite it. His comments came during a meeting with his Belarusian ally and President Alexander Lukashenko. The Kremlin spokesperson said that peace talks without Russia don’t make sense.
