Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently opened up about his deep connection to his childhood home in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk.

In a candid conversation, while promoting his film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan‘ alongside Tiger Shroff, Akshay reminisced about the vibrant flavors and unique charm of Old Delhi.

He spoke fondly about enjoying local delicacies such as kachoris, paranthas, and aam ice cream during his visits.Akshay mentioned the “kanche vali bottle,” a beloved treat from his childhood, and expressed his wish to take Tiger Shroff to Chandni Chowk to experience the culinary delights the place has to offer.
Akshay revealed that he still owns his childhood home in Chandni Chowk and visits it regularly. He described the area as seemingly untouched by time, noting how the buildings, streets, and way of life remain largely unchanged. Despite the presence of exposed wires in the area, Akshay marveled at the lack of any major incidents, attributing it to the blessings of the gods.
Meanwhile, Akshay earlier shared his intent to purchase a flat on the third floor of the building where his family used to live in Mumbai’s Bandra East. He expressed his desire to stay connected to the memories of his early life, including waiting by the window with his sister for their father to return from work.
On the other hand, the most awaited action flick ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ hit the big screens on this day.
