Amidst Israel’s war on Gaza, Spain is spearheading a pro-Palestinian movement in Europe. Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez held a meeting with Norway’s Jonas Gahr Store in Oslo. Sanchez, who has been championing the Palestinian cause, discussed the issue with Store. After the meeting, the Norwegian PM made a big statement on Palestinian statehood. PM Jonas Gahr Store announced on Friday that his nation “stands ready” to recognise the state of Palestine and its “appropriate” place in the United Nations.
