Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is all set to play the role of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Hindu epic ‘Ramayana.’ He was recently seen undergoing a rigorous workout in the countryside ahead of the film’s shoot, as his fitness coach recently offered a small sneak peek into his training session on social media. In the video, posted on Instagram, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen jogging alongside his trainer, lifting weights, swimming, cycling, and hiking, amidst the lush green surroundings.
Cycling and jogging for a toned physique
Cycling and jogging are great for the toning of the lower body, particularly the legs. The hamstrings and quadriceps are two of the targeted muscles during both of these workouts as they play a huge role during running and pedaling.

Hiking for a toned physique
Hiking is also a great way to target specific muscle groups such as the glutes, core, and legs. The uneven terrain engages more with these muscles rather than the flat surfaces. This, carrying a backpack or hiking with a weighted vest can further build muscle mass.

Ranbir Kapoor is set to begin the shooting for his role by the third week of April and will later be joined by Southern actress Sai Pallavi, who will be seen essaying the role of Sita Mata in the film. According to various reports, a Rs 11 Crore set has been constructed for the film and the makers are trying their best to bring the city of Ayodhya to life. The film will be released in three parts with the majority of the film to be shot at the set of Ayodhya.

Ranbir Kapoor changed his workout regime during the tenure of his film ‘Animal.’ His training including heavy weightlifting with a crossfit-style approach to create the desired stimulus for muscle growth. He increased his body volume by implementing various combinations of muscle groups in every session.
Talking about Ranbir Kapoor’s work front, he was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol. He even received a Filmfare award for his role as Ranvijay Singh, and soon will be seen in the sequel called ‘Animal Park’ which is yet to go on floors.
