As expected, collections are really good for Shaitaan which is collecting better than all the other films in the running, and at certain places doing even double their business. Be it the urban centres or the interiors, it’s the Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan starrer, which is finding the best traction and that’s something which has pushed it well into the superhit category.

This can well be seen from the fact that the Sunday collections of Shaitaan have come to Rs. 4.50 crores*, though they are lesser than Saturday since pre-Holi festivities had kickstarted. On Friday, the film had held on really well at Rs. 2.85 crores* and now with these Sunday numbers turning out to be good, the overall weekend has turned out to be bountiful. This isn’t all because since this is an extended four-day weekend due to partial holiday of Holi on Monday, the film’s collections will turn out to be even bigger before stepping into the weekdays and further consolidating.

The overall total of the film currently reads Rs. 129 crores* and today it will comfortably go past the Rs. 133 crores mark. Post that it has to be seen how do the rest of the weekdays turn out to be, though even on a conservative note, around Rs. 5 crores more should be added to the total. The Vikas Bahl directed was expected to breeze towards the Rs. 140 crores and then keep counting its score towards the Rs. 150 crores milestone. That’s exactly how things are progressing for the film where all associated will soon be gearing up to pop the champagne for its next milestone.
