She revealed, “Guess what?! WE GOT PICKED UP FOR SEASON 1!” alongside a sneak peek of the show. The post shared by Gomez featured the official Disney channel announcement, signaling the start of a new magical journey.

In the upcoming series, both Selena Gomez and David Henrie will reprise their roles as the magical siblings, Alex and Justin Russo. Additionally, they will take on the roles of executive producers, ensuring the continuation of the beloved storyline. Here are the details of the upcoming sequel series, ‘Wizards’: Production for the new series, simply titled “Wizards,” is scheduled to commence next month in Los Angeles. Joining Selena Gomez and David Henrie, executive producers Jed Elinoff, Scott Thomas, Gary Marsh, and Andy Fickman are set to guide the series forward.
Elinoff and Thomas, the show’s writers, will helm the creative direction, while Fickman, who directed the pilot episode, will continue to contribute by directing additional episodes.
