NEW DELHI: Women rose to the occasion to end the trophy drought for Royal Challengers Bangalore with an eight-wicket victory against Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League final on Sunday.
Delhi surrendered the fight at their home ground after their 64-run opening partnership was broken.

RCB (115/2) chased down the target with 3 balls to spare as superstar all-rounder Ellyse Perry hit an unbeaten 35.
RCB’s Sophie Molineux, who reduced DC from 64/0 to 64/3 in one over, was declared player of the match.
Deepti Sharma of UP Warriorz was declared the player of the tournament.
