JAMMU: At least 11 people, including a 5-year-old girl, were injured when a minibus they were traveling in rolled into a gorge in Jammu’s Poonch district Thursday, police said.
“A mini bus skidded off the road when its driver lost control over the vehicle. Locals and police rushed to the spot and took the injured to district hospital,” police said.
Besides Nusrat Naiz, the five-year-old girl, those injured have been identified as Mohd Aslam, Abdul Majid, Narinder Kumar, Harjit Singh, Nazir Hussain, Rakhia Begam, Neraj Kumar, Ruksana Kouser, Rashid Ahmad and Deepanshu Kumar.All are residents of Mangnar.
“A case has been registered and further investigations are on,” police said.
